Well-known Ghanaian vocal wordsmith known as M.anifest drops this stimulating studio body of work tagged, Nowhere Cool. It was in the year 2016 that this phenomenal project was released under his imprint called, Singitdamnit Music.
Its title came from a short story of the same name by foremost Ghanaian author and poet, Prof. Ama Ata Aidoo. On Now Here Cool, she is heard reciting a piece from the same story.
The Nowhere Cool project is a conceptual album. It had a rich roster of local and international artistes including Ghana's Worlasi and Cina Soul, English singer, Paapa as well as South Africa's Tumi Molekane and Nomisupasta. Dex Kwasi was tapped for Palm Wine & Whisky while Nigeria's Brymo featured on Sugar and Good Bye.
The album is made up of different genres including Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, and Highlife. Dex Kwasi, Drvmroll, G-Mo, Jayso, Drvmroll, Kuvie & Yung Fly (Mike Kwasi) were the masterminds behind the production of this album.
